Salt is a community of foot-tappers, can’t resist to move-ers, feel the beat-ers, push the limit-ers, based at the Gracegate Centre.

WEEKLY SALT EXAM DANCE CLASSES

These classes will involve learning proper technique, learning a variety of genres, flexibility training, and bringing back a more structured dance class so your kids can get the most out of their time with us! Not only this, but the classes will all be leading up to an exam at the end of Term 3, where your kids will have the opportunity to be examined by Guest Moderators. In the past, these classes have encouraged dancers to take pride in their abilities and understand the foundational skills behind dance, in a fun and caring environment.

The exams are a compulsory aspect of these classes, so the dancers have something to be working towards throughout the year. Considering this, we may refuse to let your child sit the exam if they are at risk of failing. If this is the case, we will have a discussion with you regarding attendance to classes or dedication in class well before the date of the exam.

WHEN?

Tuesday afternoons:
Junior Dance Class (5 – 8yr olds) 3.15pm – 4pm
Level 4 Exam Dance Class (9 – 12yr olds) 4.15pm – 5pm
Level 6 Exam Dance Class (13 – 16yr olds) 4.15pm – 5pm

Calling all 5 – 13 year olds! Join us in the next school holidays for Kids Quest, where every day is packed with fun, friendship, and faith. You’ll do arts and crafts, build edible masterpieces from snacks, play heaps of games, laugh together, and make new friends. Kids Quest is more than just a fun week — it’s an opportunity for kids to grow in confidence, build meaningful friendships, and discover more about God.
