Every day, we are being shaped. Shaped by what we watch, what we listen to, what gets our attention, what we compare ourselves to, whose voices we trust... Who we follow. Algorithms learn what captivates you and serves you more of it, until the things filling your feed start shaping you...

But what if you changed the feed? What if you got intentional about what gets your attention? What if you choose voices that build you up? What you give your attention to defines who you become.

Following Jesus means choosing what and WHO forms you.

Who’s really in control of your algorithm in life? Where did all of your values and beliefs come from? What formed the basis of what you consider success to be? Who told you what attractive looks like? Who taught you the ropes of parenting? We’ve learnt these things from what’s around us, from what gets our attention. We can change the algorithm, and consciously reset what forms us.
