Jesus called Matthew when he was a tax collector. He said 'follow me' straight away. He didn’t wait for Matthew to first clean up his act and then call him. Jesus is saying, 'I want you NOW. I want your NOW life.' If we wait for the perfect moment, or the right time, that time never comes. We can be spiritually fit. We can serve. We can find belonging and purpose. We can be the church. And we can LOVE being the church!
